MUNICIPAL SPORTS PLANT

The Municipal Sports Facility was designed as a multi-functional complex that supports both sports and social life in the city. The project consists of a semi-olympic swimming pool, indoor sports hall, outdoor sports areas, athlete accommodation units, and a youth center.

These diverse functions are connected through a shared entrance canopy, ensuring visual and physical continuity between the building masses. In this way, the complex becomes an interactive public space that serves both athletes and the local community.

The design emphasizes functional organization, spatial orientation, and permeability, creating a fluid relationship between indoor and outdoor areas.

In conclusion, the project was conceived as a dynamic, contemporary, and publicly accessible sports complex that contributes to the sporting infrastructure of Çanakkale.
