MAYA TEXTILE HEAD OFFICE

The existing office floor in Istanbul's Yenidoğan district suffered from severely limited natural light, creating an uncomfortable working environment for staff. The design centred on using light as an architectural strategy: semi-transparent glazed partitions and low furniture clusters replaced dividing walls, allowing daylight to penetrate deep into the plan. A palette of pastel and natural tones helped artificial lighting approximate the quality of natural light. This approach established visual continuity across corridor-to-workspace transitions, transforming the 880 m² floor into a dynamic yet focused interior.
