ABDI İBRAHIM PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY INC. – PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS CENTER

Located within the Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceutical campus in Hadımköy, this facility integrates smart warehousing, pharmaceutical production, and logistics distribution under one roof. Architectural compatibility with the existing campus was the primary design requirement. The central design challenge was combining three fundamentally different functions — sterile production, high-volume storage, and truck-scale logistics — within a safe and uninterrupted flow. K2 Architects resolved this through a functional staging strategy: each operational layer was configured as an independent planning zone with its own security and access requirements, while being coordinated for concurrent operation. Developed in BIM, the project enabled early-stage clash detection across MEP and structural systems.
